“VENSTER” in these general terms and conditions and elsewhere on the site www.vensteracademy.com means the trade name VENSTER conducted here under the trade name VENSTER, registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce in Utrecht, the Netherlands, under registration number: 32168452.

Applicability of general terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to any agreement you enter into with VENSTER. This applies to Internet orders as well as other deliveries. Before signing up for a workshop, course or training program, it is important to read it carefully. By ordering, you agree to the terms and conditions of delivery.

1.1 Formation of the agreement for workshops and courses

1.1.1 Registration is done by registering through the website(https://www.vensteracademy.com).
1.1.2 After registration, you will receive an (electronic) confirmation of receipt via e-mail that will make your registration final. Registration will take place in order of receipt of applications.
1.1.3 Only a certain number of spots are available per workshop or course. The number is between 6 and 12 participants per workshop or course. Once a workshop or course is full, registration is automatically closed and it is no longer possible to book a spot through the website.
1.1.4 Workshop or course full, but still interested? Then send an email to info@vensteracademy.com. Possibly another spot will become available. If there is sufficient enthusiasm, consideration will be given to offering the program again.
1.1.5 By registering, you agree to the terms and conditions.

1.2 Establishment of the agreement in training programs

1.2.1 Registration is done by registering through the website(https://www.vensteracademy.com).
1.2.2 After completing the corresponding admission process, you will receive a confirmation (electronic) via e-mail, including invoice. Payment of this invoice will make your registration final.
1.2.3 In case of continued (or incomplete) fulfillment of the payment obligation, the agreement will be dissolved with the participant maintaining the full payment obligation for the activity (see point 2 for procedure for cancellation).
1.2.4 Only a certain number of spots are available per training program. The number is between 12 and 15 participants. Once a course is full, registration is automatically closed and it is no longer possible to book a spot.
1.2.5 Training year full, but still interested? Then send an email to info@vensteracademy.com. Possibly another spot will become available. If there is sufficient enthusiasm, consideration will be given to offering the program again.
1.2.6 By final registration through payment of the invoice, you agree to the terms and conditions.

2. Cancellation by the participant

2.1 Unsubscribing should be done via email and/or telephone.
2.2 When canceling a workshop, course or training program, a €5 administration fee will be deducted.
2.3.1 Workshop cancellation:
If you cancel up to 14 days before the start of a workshop, you will receive a full refund of the remaining amount (minus the €5 administration fee).
Cancellations from 14 days prior to the start of a workshop will be charged 100% of the participation fee.
2.3.2 Course Cancellation:
If you cancel up to 21 days before the start of a course, you will receive a full refund of the remaining amount (minus the €5 administration fee).
Cancellations from 21 days prior to the start of a course will be charged 50% of the participation fee.
Cancellations from 14 days prior to the start of a course will be charged 100% of the participation fee.
2.3.3 Cancellation for a training program:
If you cancel up to 4 weeks before the start of a training program, you will receive a full refund of the remaining amount (minus the €5 administration fee).
For cancellations from 4 weeks prior to the start of a training program, 50% of the participation fee will be charged.
Cancellations from 14 days prior to the start of a training program will be charged 100% of the participation fee.
2.4 In consultation with VENSTER, your place may be taken by a substitute. In that case, you will not owe a cancellation fee. You are responsible for arranging your own replacement. Your payment will be reversed as soon as your replacement’s payment is received.
2.5 You can unsubscribe by email to info@vensteracademy.com. Always include the name of the workshop, course or training program and the date.

3. Cancellation/relocation by VENSTER.

3.1 VENSTER is entitled to cancel the offered workshop, course or training program in case of insufficient participants. Should a workshop, course or training program not take place or be postponed, you will be notified no later than 7 days before the start.
3.2 VENSTER is entitled to change the date of a workshop, course or training program until no later than 2 weeks before the start of the workshop, course or training program. The student will be notified via email and has the option to reschedule/cancel the workshop, course or training program at no cost by mutual agreement.
3.3 VENSTER is entitled, in the event of an instructor’s illness, to replace the instructor with another instructor or to cancel the workshop, course or training program offered. Upon cancellation, by mutual agreement, registration will be rescheduled or cancelled without charge and any course fees paid will be refunded.

4. Payment terms

4.1.1 Payment for a workshop or course must be made through VENSTER’s webshop.
4.1.2 Payment of a training program must be made via payment of the invoice sent by email for that purpose.
4.3 In case of persistent non- (or incomplete) fulfillment of the payment obligation, the dunning costs, as well as all costs for collection and legal proceedings, will be recovered from the participant.
4.4 Once registration and payment for the workshop or course are received by VENSTER, you will receive an invoice.

5. Liability

5.1 VENSTER assumes no liability for personal injury or property damage to participants, nor any liability resulting from events during the workshop, course or training program.
5.2 During the workshop, course or training program, materials are sometimes used that may stain clothing or belongings. VENSTER is not liable for soiled or damaged property and will not reimburse any damages. So remember to put on old clothes yourself when working with paint or ink, for example.

6. Complaints and problems

I6.1 Do you have a complaint about a workshop, course or training program? Please contact us and we will do our best to assist you and try to solve the problem.
6.2 If a participant causes a nuisance during a workshop, course or the training program, VENSTER has the right to refuse this person during subsequent workshops or classes of the course or the training program. In doing so, the participant will not receive a refund of the money paid.

7. Other

7.1 All course materials and supplementary documentation are copyrighted and may not be copied, reproduced or otherwise duplicated and/or disclosed. Making recordings in image and/or sound of (part of) a workshop, course or the training program is not allowed.
7.2 VENSTER always reserves the right to change the content and/or prices of the workshops, courses or training programs.
7.3 Parking fees, if applicable, are the responsibility of the participant.
7.4 Upon completion of the workshop, course or training program, participants will be asked to rate the program anonymously. Suggestions for improvement are always welcome.
