Ioana Stanescu (1985) is a theory teacher within the Illustrated & Animated Storytelling course at AKV St.Joost. She believes the question that should always preoccupy her students is: What are the building blocks of a narrative? Through research and reflection, image makers get to the heart of a narrative, and how best to achieve that is what Ioana likes to teach.
